Men's Health Consultations in Newcastle

Many male health concerns require a focused consultation rather than a brief general appointment. At Newcastle Men’s Health Clinic we provide dedicated men’s health consultations designed to investigate common issues such as erectile dysfunction, urinary symptoms, testosterone deficiency, and prostate concerns.

Based at Blaydon Primary Care Centre, our clinicians provide extended appointments that allow time for detailed assessment, appropriate testing, and the development of a clear diagnostic or treatment plan.

Where appropriate, patients can be referred directly to our specialist pathways or to consultant urology care.

When to Seek a Specialist Men’s Health Consultation

A dedicated men’s health consultation can be helpful when symptoms affect sexual health, hormonal wellbeing, or urinary function.

You may benefit from an assessment if you experience:

  • Sexual Health Changes: Difficulty achieving or maintaining erections, reduced libido, or changes in sexual performance.
  • Possible Hormonal Symptoms: Persistent fatigue, reduced energy levels, loss of muscle mass, or symptoms suggestive of testosterone deficiency.
  • Urinary Symptoms: Night-time urination, weak urinary stream, urgency, or other lower urinary tract symptoms.
  • Prostate Concerns: Family history of prostate disease or symptoms that may require further investigation.
  • Ongoing Health Concerns: Persistent symptoms affecting quality of life that would benefit from a structured medical review.

Evidence-Led Clinical Excellence

Our men’s health consultations are informed by guidance from organisations including:

  • NICE
  • European Association of Urology (EAU)
  • British Society for Sexual Medicine (BSSM)

Where appropriate, consultations may lead to further investigation such as blood testing, prostate assessment, urinary testing, or imaging.

The aim is to provide a structured and clinically appropriate pathway to diagnosis and treatment.

Our Men’s Health Assessment Pathways

  • Erectile Dysfunction Assessment
  • Testosterone Deficiency Assessment
  • Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) Assessment
  • Prostate Cancer Screening
  • Comprehensive Men’s Health Check

This structured approach allows investigations and treatment to be tailored to the underlying cause of symptoms.
